Intentions Checklist (Choose 2 to 4 as per situation)

  1. I will try my best to keep my gaze lowered.
  2. Initiate greetings with a good intention.
  3. Respond to greetings politely.
  4. Recite: “Sallu ‘alal Habib! ﷺ”
  5. Show genuine care and ask about others' well-being.
  6. If asked about my health, I’ll say: “Alhamdulillah”.
  7. Respond when someone sneezes.
  8. If I sneeze and say “Alhamdulillah”, reply accordingly.
  9. Treat people according to their status and manners.
  10. Speak with people according to their level of understanding.
  11. Think before I speak.
  12. Use respectful words like "Sir", "Madam", or "Dear".
  13. Smile during conversations (Sunnah).
  14. Avoid unnecessary speech.
  15. Refrain from yelling or speaking loudly.
  16. Avoid sarcasm and mocking.
  17. Refrain from unnecessary objections.
  18. Respond gently to anger or harshness.
  19. Avoid dragging or prolonging the conversation.
  20. Speak concisely and to the point.
  21. Stay away from lies or exaggerated statements.
  22. Don’t blindly agree without understanding.
  23. Avoid fake praise or flattery.
  24. Listen attentively without interrupting.
  25. Don’t cut someone off mid-sentence.
  26. Avoid pretending not to hear when I actually understood.
  27. Refrain from political commentary.
  28. Avoid unnecessary discussions about terrorism.
  29. Don’t speak ill of absent individuals (backbiting/slander).
  30. Stay away from gossip or tale-bearing.
  31. Say “Turn to Allah in repentance” if needed.
  32. Encourage goodness and righteousness.
  33. If needed, explain through writing or gestures.
  34. Avoid confusing or off-topic arguments.
  35. Do not hurt anyone’s feelings.
  36. Congratulate others on good news.
  37. Express empathy during times of distress.
  38. Send greetings on behalf of others.
  39. Make heartfelt supplications for forgiveness.
  40. Bid farewell with peace and prayers.
